I love the truck and the experience purchasing the truck was OK. Although it was a bit tedious, I had no complaints but I just recently purchased a used Ford Ranger from the smart lot within the past month and a half or two months first time getting the truck on a lift after purchasing some wheels and tires to find that the CV axle is shot and has been that way for quite a while. This was not something that happened within the time period that I owned the vehicle. This was a pre-existing condition that I missed while purchasing the Vehicle. The three mechanics that looked at it had expressed the importance of getting it repaired immediately due to the duration of the condition that it was in I’m extremely tight on money as it is the holidays. When I contacted Toyota, they didn’t even entertain the thought of repairing the truck. This is not the first time that I have bought a vehicle from Daytona Toyota‘s smart lot and they’ve been my go-to car dealership. But I honestly expected better from them in resolving this issue. A warranty should be irrelevant in the case of a pre-existing condition. It wouldn’t have been much of a big deal for a large corporation like Toyota to do right by its returning customer. But it seems like I was duped. And that sucks cause I really trusted these people. I will not purchase another vehicle from Daytona Toyota.

Update 11.12.24 Had a service appointment for oil change scheduled for 11 I was in a rush so I stopped in at 10:15 and they said no problem. Got me in and out before my scheduled appointment! Now that's service!! Honesty, Integrity, and great service! Couldn't ask for anything more in a dealership. Oh and the Hot Dogs!!

The Finance Department has not returned any of my multiple emails or calls. I receive texts and calls from a Toyota Rep assuring me I will get a call or email back. This has NEVER happened. I paid the car loan off due to my frustration with the lack of response or communication. If you want proof I can forward you my multiple emails and the most recent texts.

I have bought many vehicles in my lifetime but when I bought a 2024 Tacoma today from Daytona Toyota...well it was simply an awesome experience. My salesman was knowledgeable and actually cared. The finance manager made everything so easy. Lifetime warranty and oil changes!!! I love this place!

I was able to bring my Highlander in on an emergency basis. Michelle in the Service Area could not have been any more helpful or pleasant! She kept me closely advised, and even though I had confused what was wrong, she straightened everything out pronto. I haven't been in to the shop for quite a long time, and gave me stellar service anyway! I could not have been any more impressed! Thanks, Toyota Daytona! By far the worst experience I’ve had when looking to purchase a vehicle. The deal was made and a deposit was left. I waited weeks to get the car, the whole time thinking all I have to do is sign my papers. It wasn’t until in financing that a mistake on their end was discovered. My payments would go up almost 50 dollars a month. This is a horrible way to do business and utterly ridiculous. If I could leave zero stars, I would.

Not what they use to be. I had previously purchased 2 vehicles from Brittany, the Internet Sales Manager. She was amazing. Unfortunately, she is no longer there and the new group does not care about return customers nor are they aggressive for sales. The sales representative replied to my text “Yea we can’t do the deal you want. You have our numbers and our car is here right now Let me know if you can do $955 a month no money down.” (We are about $3k apart on the deal with me coming up in payment and up to $1500 down) Professional is not the word I would use here. I don’t think I’ll ever buy from them again. I’d advise going to Melbourne or someplace else. Stay clear of Daytona.

Don't purchase your car here. You will be overpriced and gouged! The salesman and finance people are slick and smooth and extremely charming. BUT, BUT, BUT they are snakes🐍 behind it all and you will be bitten. They will squeeze as much out of you and lie in all the process just to get as much commission for them. I've had a favorable experience at Coggins Toyota in past years and I will most probably go there again. They were reasonable!

Do NOT go to this dealer to have work done they collect your info and spam you to death on garbage they want to sell you. I have enough spam in my folder. I also caught them lying to me saying my CV joints needed replaced in turn new axles. Got on the floor in front of them and checked my cv joints my boots were NOT torn like they had said they were. Surprise, surprise.

My last experience with Daytona Service center was not very pleasant however I took my car in last week because the maintenance light was on and received 5-star service from Technology Consultant Mike Entrekin. He was so helpful and resolved my problem promptly. He also went above and beyond and checked my fluid levels and safety items right there in the bay! Mike's customer service skills are phenomenal and he is definitely my new consultant from now on!!!!!

Purchased a part for my 2016 4Runner and when it arrived it did not fit, not even remotely. I entered my VIN, year, make and model and still received the wrong fit. When I started my return they charged me $38.15 for the return when they should be the ones to cover the cost considering they sent me the wrong sized item. Poor customer service.

Shane sold a Tundra to my husband in September and has called him since then to check up on his health (heart problems) and our storm recovery. Today he called to check on us again and to let me know a new Sienna had come onto the lot. In one of our earlier calls I had told him I might be interested in a new car if one came that I liked. So I went over mid day and bought it. Comfort level great, no hard sales pressure at all. He made the whole transaction painless. I hope he is there when the time comes again to get a new car. And Kiki, the finance head honcho, is phenomenal. It is a pleasure to do business with people who are kind, thoughtful, and knowledgeable.

This company has an ad on Facebook marketplace and I looked at it just out of curiosity. Later that day I got an absurd automated message from the company asking me how they could help me. So I wrote a message to them saying that there automated message was annoying and inappropriate. Then immediately I got a second return automated message "Let us know if you need anything. Have a nice day!". Talk about a pushy sales company who believe that this is appropriate. I wouldn't buy anything from them. If you walk into their showroom they'll probably strap you to a seat and torture you to get you to buy something. y

Great experience on Saturday. Chandler was great and did everything that he could to get us in the car we wanted. Dean (manager) was extremely helpful and made sure we got the best deal. I bought a 2013 Prius, in Just a little over the 30 day warranty. It Needed According to them $3,500 A brake part which is a serious safety issue. Toyota has been sued for This issue and a class. Action. Lawsuit. Was won by the consumers..... I was pretty much told There was nothing they could do, I tried to compromise with them. To just supply the part that I needed to keep this car safe. Even though the lower fish agreed with me, the higher fish in the corporation denied me even the part that would make the car safe ... It would have cost them about $600.. Don't deal with this greedy people

Only 1 week earlier, Merrilee accompanied our friend Joyce Keech to Daytona Toyota and was impressed with the vehicle Joyce purchased as well as the sales staff that assisted her. She was so impressed with the entire experience that we went back and purchased a toyota of our own. The credit goes to Shane Raymond, sales consultant and Brian Pummill, sales manager. They do a good job without using a "hard sell" technique. That never works with my wife and usually results in her leaving a dealership abruptly without buying a car. These guys were friendly, patient, helpful and each has a good sense of humor. We love the car, the way it looks, handles and of course all the bells and whistles. Thanks for a great experience!

I am seriously disappointed with my experience today. I had been contacted a few times to trade in my car with associates and I turned them each down. While I have bought two cars previously with this company, today I went in because I was reassured but a Sales Manager that he could get me into a new car for around what we discussed which was supposed to be lower than my current payment. I was abit wary about the thought of getting into a new car again especially since I have been told with Toyota on several occasions if I do well I would be able to get into a newer version of the same car cheaper and that hasn’t happened once no matter how responsible I have been over the years. But back to the issue at hand, I made it clear I wasn’t interested in upgrading due to this fact and unless he could guarantee me that I would be around the price range discussed and that I wouldn’t have to waste my time over there cause the price would be what I would be looking at I wouldn’t be into it. However I was assured by a manager that they could get me into a similar car initially the same depending on which of the two vehicles discussed I go for. I said if I stay the same I might as well stay with my car and the manager after having me fill out the application, pulling my credit, assured me of what I would be looking at including the fact that my car would be paid off in full no money down and I would have extra towards the new car price to lower the payment to where I may need it with everything intact and renewed. I had been busy the past couple of weeks but couldn’t come in and sat on the decision but the same manager reached out again and talked me into making an appointment to come in today and after everything we discussed he knew what I was looking for price wise non negotiable for a higher payment and no downgrades from my vehicle. I went in for the appointment and I expected to deal with the manager himself especially since we had thoroughly discussed my expectations previous to my arrival the past couple of weeks. He saw me for maybe a couple of minutes and then had a sales associate deal with me and promised me he would “make things make sense” I was already worried that dealing with the sales associate that I would have to repeat myself but the associate was great with me on the test drives, no complaints there. However to my surprise they had me test drive one of the vehicles we discussed and it was abit smaller and lower than my current car, don’t get me wrong nice car but I wasn’t thrilled. So I test drove a few more cars and found one I was ok with but it was way over what I had discussed and I repeated what I said to the manager to the associate. I wound up having to talk to 3 more different people after that and I was stressed and frustrated because I went in due to our discussion and they weren’t coming even remotely close to what I wanted. They found a used car new year but 5 k miles on it they had me test drive with a crack in the windshield. They still ran the numbers and still were $100 bucks higher than my current payment. The manager finally met with me after all that with nothing new done and I shook his hand and walked out. Another guy in a suit I guess came out after me asking if there was anything they could do and I said no thanks. I wasted my time, empty promises, and frustrated. I bought 4 cars with Toyota, two with them specifically and felt like they really didn’t meet my expectations or cared that I was a reoccurring customer and told one thing just to find the person I was supposed to deal pawned me off on several people and didn’t handle me personally all the way and couldn’t make good on the deal. The main reason I gave them two stars instead of one was cause at least I was able to salvage the long trip there by getting my car serviced without an appointment and The Service guy Shane was amazing and got me taken care of quick too. To him I would give a 5 star review and my usual service guy Thomas (Thomas wasn’t in today but I have been meaning to give him glowing reviews).

Just bought a brand new Toyota Corolla for my wife. It wasn’t the original car we wanted to see because that one sold, but Demitri and James showed us the top of the line XSE model and we fell in love with the car! I am posting this review on behalf of Mrs Joyce Keech. I accompanied her to Daytona Toyota to look for a new car. We were greeted by Mr. Shane Raymond who was patient, pleasant and answered all of our questions. We explained that a previous visit to this dealership was not a good experience and Joyce felt the salesman was extremely aggressive and pushy and made very little effort to provide us with answers to our questions. In that case, Joyce left without a car. This time working with Shane proved to be an entirely different experience. Joyce didn’t feel pushed, rushed, nervous or anxious Mr. Brian Pummill sales manager also assisted Joyce and was also kind, patient and very helpful. Thanks to Shane and Brian this was a thoroughly pleasant experience and Joyce purchased a beautiful Rav4 XLE . She is delighted with her new car and thrilled to be treated with such kindness and respect by these two excellent and helpful gentlemen. Thank you both for alleviating all the anxiety that can come with car shopping. I am even seriously thinking about purchasing my own Rav 4 and would only want to work with Shane and Brian.
